Martial Law from Bud Tallman on Vimeo.

Video for one of my production classes.
My own Critique:
The most effective part of this project is the animation work.  The movements are fluid and lead the eye, using arrangement and lines.  The placement of elements also balances the frame in each scene.
The main area that could use improvement would be the text itself.  The integration has a lot of room for improvement.  I have found a different typeface to stick in there that will work much better, I feel.  The background and foreground styles conflict slightly.
Overall, I like the piece but I will go back and do some tweaking when I get my desktop back from being repaired.

This is my first project for CFV 326.  I have created a text-only image in photoshop.  Really, my focus here is on contrast.  I have the word "TAX" choking out the rest of the text to reflect the feelings of the Tea Party tax protesters.  It cracks under its own weight.  "Policies" is contained in a solid horizontal line to have an unbreakable feel.  The text at the top is getting the jump on the out-of-control "TAX," but is still drowned out.  That contrast and the placement work together to create the overall effect.
